Water-side Pavilion and Performing Stage in Yi Jin Fang (Silk Robes Lane)

Built in the year of the reign of Emperor Wan Li (1573-1620) of the Ming Dynasty, it was originally the residence of the Zheng Family but was later in the possession of Sun Yimou in the year of the reign of Emperor Dao Guang of the Qing Dynasty. Sprawling up to 2,377㎡, the house is composed of three adjoining buildings, with the main halls divided into three compounds. In the parlour there is a 30-square-meter performing stage which was built over the water pond. It is the only existing performing stage over the pond in Fuzhou and the building was designated in 2006 as a 6th group of key cultural relics under state protection.
